Crocketts Fish & Fry is located in Montclair, NJ on Bloomfield Avenue. Montclair has many restaurants for everyone's taste buds. In this shop there is condiments, T.V. and booths for people to sit and eat. I took my meal home and it was well worth the wait. I ordered catfish with mac and cheese as well as a gigantic peice of sweet potato pie. I ate the macaroni first and fell in love with it; the dish was creamy and cheesy with a perfect amount in the container. Then I ate the catfish which tasted crispy with a dash of tasty . The sweet potato pie was so big my mom thought it was two slices but later that evening she found she was wrong .The pie was sweet and I liked it but I think it was to sweet. My rating is 4 and a 1/2 . I would have given Crockets Fish a five if it wasn't so expensive and you didn't have to pay in cash.

Sweet Potato & Pecan
What's food from the soul? SOUL FOOD! Kid Food Critic here in Montclair, NJ at Sweet Potato & Pecan located at 103 Forest Avenue. My mother and I arrived a few minutes ago and are still waiting. While I am waiting I check around a little. I spot precisely three certificates. One was a sanitary certificate (good to have) The second was a certificate of appreciation ( the owner gave me a complimentary drink and dessert personally speaking major props!).The third was a garden club certificate(my guess is they bought herbs from the club or they are a part of the garden club). Then I received my dish which was salmon, rice and macaroni with a piece of pecan pie, everything had a delicious aroma. My first bite was the rice (YUM), I cannot tell you in words how delicous it was! The salmon was easy to cut when you take a bite and when you do it's crispy and just right . The macaroni tasted sweet like candy to me and my family thought it was delicious as well. Sweet Potato & Pecan gets a FIVE! Beautiful service and tasty food what more can you ask .
Starbucks
I briefly went to Starbucks in Clifton, NJ at the Barnes & Noble store. I ordered a vanilla frappacino and my mom had her favorite green tea latte. My mother's green tea latte was unsweetened;she needed to add some splenda to her latte. My vanilla frappacino was delicious it tasted like creamy vanilla ice cream. It was crowded and there aren't a lot of seats in this Starbucks nook at the bookstore. Starbucks gets a four, for lack of sugar in the latte.

Carino's
I ate at Carino's in Clifton, N.J. I ate potato soup, garlic bread and
fettuccine with alfredo sauce. It looks fancy like when you get off a ride from Disney World and you go in the Disney Palace where you eat and meet the Disney characters, at least it gives me that impression. Then they had brought some kind of dipping sauce so I tried it and let's just say it's not my favorite. My main course came, fettuccine with alfredo sauce. The waiter had put cheese on my mother's and mine. When I got my dish I took a moment to just look at it. I thought, where is my alfredo sauce, it was as if they totally disregarded it but turns out l had to look for it,I ended up finding it at the bottom of my noodles.Well let's get on to my mom's dish for a quick second. Her meal was bow tie pasta with spicy romano it tasted better than mine.Too spicy for me,but very tasty. I left the best for last, my potato soup; It was creamy and delicious. I did notice the tattered booths. They have good prices for families.

Pizza Hut
I ate at the Pizza Hut location in Belleville, NJ. The service was slow and thetable was wet. We waited to be seated while others had a longer waitpaying their bill. The waitress was good and taking on more than hershare. Did I mention she is pregnant. Poor team work on her co-workers behalf.Itwas crowded and only the pregnant waitress/host/cashier was the only one working. Mymother's order was super supreme and the ingredients of red peppers, greenpeppers and olives were missing. My dish (personal pan cheese pizza)was well made but too hot.My mom said that her dish could have been betterif she would have received what she ordered. The bathroom was horrendous ithad chipped walls ,stuffed garbage cans, and the bathroom's toilet was so bad Ialmost fainted. My rating is a two.Martina, the pregnant waitress did all thework and the points go towards her giving great service. To me thestaff took away from thefood.By, Kid Critic of Northern New Jersey
